Privacy for shoppers
How your details are used when you shop on RTC Stores. This is a summary; the platform's full Privacy Policy is linked below.
What we collect
- Your name and mobile number, and if you create an account, your email address and a password (kept in scrambled form).
- Your delivery addresses, your orders, and your wishlist.
- The code we text you to confirm your number, which is deleted within minutes, and a record of the texts and emails we send you.
- We never see your mobile money PIN. Payments are processed by Paystack and your mobile money operator.
Who sees it
- The shop you order from sees your name, phone, delivery address and orders at that shop, to serve you. It does not see what you bought from other shops.
- RTC Stores (Reduced To Clear Enterprise) runs the platform and processes your details for that purpose only, with service providers for payments, text messages, email, hosting and error monitoring.
- We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of the Republic of Ghana you can ask to see, correct or delete your details, and to stop marketing messages. Ask the shop about your orders, or contact RTC Stores on 0256 253 494. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
Governing law
This notice and every rule that governs how your details are handled on RTC Stores are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
